Telecommunications enhances our lives,it is a technology that advances every day in some shape or form. We have so many ways to communicate . Our possibilties are endless. So many avenues ......... it is kind of like being a kid in the candy store. However, we take the basics for granted.

The most common of telecom is the telephone. We take having (POTS)Plain Old Telephone Service for granted just like running water through a faucet. Society has advanced so far that it's hard to imagine what it must of been like to hear the first phone ring. Only because man takes existing technology and sores to new heights. As a result telephone proceeded after the telegraph. Therefore,the telephone opened doors in the telecommunication industry. Technical advances made our lives easier. Technology developed better ways to communicate . One of the best of the communication era is Celluar technology. Prior to that was a the carphone,then a cumbersome "Brick"(nick name of the first Cellphone) but we made it smaller and the features of today wouldn't been imagined back then.The Computer made it more convient to get your work done . However, it wasn't unto the internet the computer took on a fresh function. Our generation is now chatting,networking online.We are still moving at full speed. Technnology is in a constant state of evolvement. A Voice Over Interface Protocol is one of the modern marvels that has hybrided phone and internet.
